Happy Friday
Good morning! I can't believe how this week flew by. It was my first week home without Mr. Hedin and with a new baby. I think I did alright. In fact, I know I did. We went to the Home Depot and the University Village. We went for a walk. I managed to get three children into the back of my volvo station wagon. It was a good week overall.
The rest of me had a good week too, if I say so myself.
:: My peach obsession continued with Peach Preserves. They are really really good.
:: I started a new feature called Me & Mini Me. As long as I am dressing my kids just like me anyway, I may as well share it with you.
:: We removed a giant tree from our front yard. Hooray for sunlight!
:: Today we are getting the television hooked up in the living room and the cable and power run. Heaven help me because he's been here since 8am using power tools and none of my children have napped yet. Two are way overdue!
:: I have been reading The Help while I'm nursing and I just finished it today. What a great book. I was hoping for a little rosier ending. Especially since Mae Mobley made me think of my own Baby Girl the whole time. But since I think I'm the last person in America to read it, I won't go on too long about it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! See you back here Monday for a few back to school ideas! Can you believe it's already time for back to school? I can't. Especially here in Seattle where the weather has *just* turned to summer this week.

I just want to tell you how much I love your blog. Seeing the picture of Lars in the boots reminds me so much of my little boy who had to wear his boots with shorts all summer long. He is now 27 & in law school. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Help! I'm seeing the movie on Wednesday and I hope it lives up to the book. And those little Hunter boots are just too cute!
