Bellevue Home Show :: T minus 3 days!

This weekend I'm going to be at the Bellevue Home Show!  Are you?

I'm getting ready for my segments and trying to gather everything I might need to put on THREE great demonstrations.  This is going to be a great show with really amazing speakers on the Albert Lee Cooking Stage - and I'm not tooting my own horn, really.  John Howie, Jennifer Shea and Lisa Dupar are also on the stage.  Find out when everyone else is on by clicking here.  But if you want to see me, here are the times:

- Friday at 1pm :: Sweet Treats featuring Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars and Caramel Filled Coconut Butter Cookies.  (Just in time for Valentine's Day!)

- Saturday at 12 noon :: Super Bowl Snacks!  Featuring Rosemary Roasted Nuts, Spiced Popcorn and Marinated Vegetables

- Saturday at 2pm :: Comfort Foods featuring one of my favorite things... Minestrone Soup!  Among other things.

Not only do we get to cook some of our favorite things - but in an amazing state of the art kitchen that Albert Lee has assembled.  There is an induction stove, an in-counter fryer, and an oven from Gaggenau that does EVERYTHING!  Literally, it steams, it convection bakes, it roasts... the list goes on.  There are 13 ways to set up the elements to produce different baking/cooking scenarios.

I'm excited to be a part of such an illustrious group of local chefs.  I'm also selling my book at the event - and signing it - so if you are still in the market for a copy bring cash or check!

I hope to see you there.  To get you excited, here are a few images of the Sweet Treats I will be cooking on day 1!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars are perfect for cutting into shapes

But also delicious in a square

Coconut Butter Cookies don't need a filling - but it is SO decadent to add it!
