Hungry Monkey author, Matthew Amster-Burton, will be at Barnes & Noble next Tuesday, April 27th at 7:30pm. If you have kids and you haven't read his book, it's really worth getting. As an adventurous eater myself raising a child who is unwilling to try anything that isn't candy (and I've tried lying - it doesn't work. He can tell that fish isn't candy) this book is inspiring and helpful. Pick up a copy - read it this weekend - and get it signed on Tuesday. Check out his website here.

The Arboretum Foundation is having a plant sale this weekend at Magnuson Park. This is the PERFECT time to put new plants in the ground. Stop by Saturday from 9-5pm or Sunday from 10-3pm.
