How was your holiday weekend? Ours was great! We went to the Husky Game (we won!), ate a ton of shrimp at the annual Hedin Shrimp Boil, then had breakfast with my parents - Crab Eggs Benedict. Yum! Needless to say, we ate a lot this weekend.
I pulled the carrots out of the garden so this week I'll have a few carrot recipes for you. I use them so often *in* recipes, I forget how delicious carrots are on their own. My mom picked a ton of blackberries, so I made a 'cake.' We're all calling it something different. What ever you want to call it, it's really good. I ate some for breakfast today.
