How was your weekend? I got to go to the Design*Sponge craft event in Portland over the weekend. I didn't just go, I brought the food and beverages too. We had an amazing spread from our friends at Elki (dips, crackers, tapanade, yum), Saint Cupcake, and Vincent Family Cranberry Juice. It was super good and super perfect for a 2pm party.
The craft was fabric paint stamping and the projects that were coming out of there were so fun. One gal made a slug stamp (I'm totally doing that) and stamped one-sies and wee kid shirts. Another gal is a painter and she painted a flower bouquet on one-sies with fabric paint. So cute. Someone else stamped a ton of square fabric with pink lines. I'm dying to know what she ended up doing with the fabric. Pillows?
If you are in Portland, you should stop by the party tonight at West Elm. Grace and Amy are adorably fun and the book is packed with ideas and inspiration for your home that's so timely in a "domino-less/ prolific online magazine" world. It's refreshing to see fun design and realistic homes.

In other news around the world this morning
:: Cup of Jo is going to be posting her favorite spots in NYC. I'm always looking for somewhere cool to go when I'm in town - I'll be taking notes for sure.
:: Milly children's clothes mean Pearl will have the best stocked closet in town. I can't resist anything Milly and when it's that small??
:: I had completely forgotten about Hollyhock dolls! Will I remember in five or six years when my child will actually get it? Should I plant hollyhocks in anticipation?
I'm off to dance class with Pearl! I hope you have a great Monday
