Craft it :: Potato Stamp Labels

Remember how many cherries we got from Matt?  We put them to good use and I think we'll be seeing more this weekend.  Unless I have a baby before then...

I wanted to make a cool label for them - but I didn't want to just print something on the computer.  It seemed like something a little more hand-crafted was needed.  I love the look of a potato stamp because it has that perfectly imperfect look that screams 'home made.'

I printed out the cherry jam information on circle labels from Office Depot and used my newly made cherry stamp to adorn them.  The only trick I ran into was that the labels are a little small for the top of the jar - a little pink paper and my Xyron sticker maker covered up the unattractive branding on top of the jar.  Next time, I'll buy jars at Mrs. Cooks that have blank tops and won't need an extra layer of paper.

But for now, these were really easy, Lars loved to help, and they look super cute (at least I think so).
