Downtown Providence
This weekend we went to Rhode Island to see my sister get her Master's Degree in Architecture - perfect timing for our house - and I decided not to take my computer. It was hard. But instead of checking blogs and worrying about what to post I hung out with my family.
Needless to say, this morning has been spent entirely online finding out what I missed! Oh, and making pancakes with no brown on them.

The hooding - you have no idea how hard it is to get a picture in a poorly lit convention center with a one year old on your lap.

The zoo! A kids project seemed necessary after so many 'grown up' events. It was a pretty good zoo too - a bit of an obscure collection of animals, but we are spoiled in Seattle.
I did miss it. This article in the NY Times about the sudden boom of online magazines certainly gave me a lot to think about and I was dying to know what some of my favorite blogger turned celebrities had to say about it. Turns out, not much.
