Happy Birthday to me :: Cookbook Giveaway

All week I'm wrapping up my favorite new cookbooks - some aren't even available in stores yet - and giving them to you.  Don't worry - they are all new cookbooks.  I haven't spilled on them, written in them, or even dropped them.  They are my gift to you for celebrating my birthday with me.  Blog style.

If you've learned anything about me reading this blog, it's that I like my food to be hearty.  I don't mess around a lot with diets, etc.  I cook with butter, heavy cream, and salt.  It tastes good.  And I'm always on the look out for more hearty delicious comfort food.  Which is why I love The New Comfort Food by James Oseland.

It's filled with comfort food from all over the globe, from Chicken and Dumplings to Udon Noodles.  I drooled over the full page pictures and desperately wanted one of everything.  You will too.

Here's how to win :: click here and be my friend on Facebook then comeback and leave a comment with your favorite thing to do on your birthday.  Or leave the comment first, then head to Facebook.  Either way.

Comments must be published by midnight September 13.   A winner will be chosen at random by number drawing and notified via email.

  1. Favorite thing to do on my birthday: have each meal of the day be AMAZING! The one day no one can question what you want, when you want it, and how much you want it!

  4. My husband and I like to check out "off the map" restaurants all around the Puget Sound on each others birthday. The non-birthdayee is responsible for hunting down the new place and keeping it a secret.
