Our living room is chugging along! Not quite as fast as I would like, but I was super pregnant and now am attempting to manage three kids at home all day. My projects have taken a back seat for a little while.
Surprisingly, things are changing in the living room. Maybe because I spend all day there. The television is getting wired in this week and will 'grow' a little as we upgrade to something larger that can be seen from the kitchen easily (once we tear out the wall in the kitchen...).
And the fabric just arrived from Spoonflower this week to recover the small couches. I originally wanted a green chevron pattern. But then I brought home a green pattern and you would not believe how terrible it looked next to the floor! Onto something more neutral.
My parents old rug is on it's way. It's yellow and white and should look perfect in the room. It has to make a brief stop at the rug cleaners to get a bit spiffed up. Then the furniture won't feel like it's floating in open space.
The big couch still needs to be recovered and the leather chair may or may not stay in this room. It will also be perfect in the basement when that's done. More on the basement project later.
