Bookalicious :: Ani's Raw Food Asia

What is it about the summer that makes me crave Asian food?  Literally, I can't get enough.  Maybe it's the cool refreshing recipes filled with mint leaves, lemongrass, and lime zest that are so perfect on hot days.  Maybe it's the pregnancy.  Either way, I really want Asian food - and take out is so filled with sodium that there's no way my feet can take it.

The new book, Ani's Raw Food Asia, is filled with perfect summer recipes - all aimed at showing healthy, raw foods inspired by several Asian cultures.  Healthy Asian is exactly what I needed right now.  Plus everything is "no cook."

Summer + no cooking + raw vegetables + Asian flavors = perfect.

Tonight I think I'm making Yellow Coconut Curry Vegetables.  But I'll probably add some meat.  Which needs to be cooked.  But we'll cook it on the grill which is totally a summer thing to do.

P.S. She was just here in Seattle.  Read all about it here!
