Good Morning

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  I did.  We went to a fundraising event Saturday night and stayed at the hotel.  It was lovely.  The shower was huge, the bath was deep, the room was quiet, and we ordered breakfast in bed.  Truly lovely.  I did see my children on Mother's Day, after my relaxing morning with Mr. Hedin we went to brunch with family and the sun even came out long enough for us to swim in the pool.

I was also at Metropolitan Market signing copies of the book!  And we sold loads - which was really exciting - and we got to meet lots of people and make lots of new friends.  If you missed me, you can still buy the book here or you can come find me at Metropolitan Market in June - the book comes signed if you order from my site!  

Today could be my best day ever - my cousin is back in town and she is my "nanny" while she is home from school.  No longer am I scrambling all day for someone to take my kids - or dragging them to meetings and appointments.  Plus, I'll be able to finish unpacking boxes without "help" from a one year old.  Best day ever!

::  I have made loads of infused vodkas in my day - but never herb infused!  I'm trying this with all of the thyme that's growing like a weed right now.  Maybe by the time it's done I'll be able to drink again.
