Moving out...

I'm starting to miss our house.  We haven't left yet.  But there are lots of things in the house that we have made our own that are definitely NOT a part of the new house.  We have plans to make the new house great but in the mean time here are a few things from this house that I will miss.

The roof has this cool detail above where the barbecue sits.  It also lets in a ton of light to the master bedroom and the deck.

The underside of the overhang outside - we used cedar and had it clear coated instead of stained.  It turned out glowing and beautiful.

Everything has had a place - and is organized.  I have no idea where it's going in the new house.  

Even when my desk was a mess (it's an old paint table of Mr. Hedin's great grandmother) it was still a perfect work space.

:: My Kitchen :: 

Most of all I will miss my kitchen.  We spend all day there.  I can't imagine how that's going to translate in the new house - it's an old school 1950's kitchen that does not look onto the rest of the house.

We have packed up the "extra" stuff and are getting our house staged to look perfect for when it finally goes on the market at the end of this month.  It's sad to let go of ten years of memories and really hard work.  But I am excited for a new project and more space!
