Our house is full of boxes and packing tape and stacks of things that need to be in boxes. But I cleared off the dining room table and made a flower arrangement this weekend. I needed a little something lovely in the midst of this chaos.
This morning I made these meringues from Martha's latest magazine for my mom. She's having the ladies over for coffee. Then the kids and I are running errands and delivering "happy spring" presents to our friends!
Our first day of spring is off to a great start with our peas just starting to show their first buds, the peonies at the new house have sprouted, and the forsythia is in full bloom. I am so thrilled for everything this spring will bring for us and can't wait to share it all with you!
