:: Use astroturf! It's super cheap, lasts forever, doesn't stain if it gets spilled on, and looks super clever. Fill a tray with it (like I did above) or just lay it out on the table or use it as a runner (below).
:: Buy yellow ref flags to make your own calls or call 'party foul' when appropriate. Buy them here.
:: Pick a color scheme and run with it. I found red bowls, red pots, and red serving dishes. It all looks coordinated even when it's not.
:: Make personalized napkins - with your team name? motto? Or just a generic saying, like "cheers"
Personalized Napkins
You'll need:
:: blank napkins (all cotton works best)
:: fabric paint
:: letter stamps
:: paper plate
Step 1 :: Wash, dry, and iron napkins.
Step 2 :: Squirt a small amount of paint on a paper plate and spread it into a thin layer.
Step 3 :: Stamp letter stamp into the paint and stamp once on the paper plate to remove any excess.
Step 4 :: Stamp paint covered stamp onto the napkin pressing straight down and lifting straight up.
Step 5 :: Let dry and follow paint package instructions for settings the paint.
